There are thousands of Registered Nursing Jobs available for
employment. It is a wise career choice. Of course, one has to
consider which educational path one wants to be in.

The payscale and the legal secretary salary vary on numerous points.
There is the bachelor of science degree in nursing (BSN)
which takes four years to complete, associate degree in nursing
(ADN) which is offered by community and junior colleges takes
about two to three years. And there are only seventy programs
that offer diplomas. Any of these three paths qualify for entry
level position as Registered Nurse.
When one chooses to have one of the Registered Nursing Jobs
which is viable for employment, one has to think about the
advantages and disadvantages of enrolling in a BSN or a MSN
program. The advancement opportunities are usually broader.
There are careers that are open only to a nurse who has a
bachelor's degree or a master's degree. A bachelor's degree is
used for administrative positions and is a requirement for
admission to graduate nursing programs in research, consulting
and teaching. Individuals who complete a bachelor's degree
receive more training in communication, leadership and critical
thinking. This is important because as the years go by, nursing
care becomes more complicated.
Registered Nursing Jobs are the largest health care
occupation. There are about 2.5 million employment
opportunities in year 2006 for registered nurses. Hospitals
employed the majority of registered nurses with 59% percent of
careers. Other industries also employed large share of workers
for registered nursing jobs. 8% of employment were in the
offices of physicians, 5% in home health care services, 5% in
nursing care facilities, 4 percent in employment services, and
3 percent in outpatient care centers. The remainder chose
careers in government agencies, social assistance agencies and
educational services. There are 21 percent of registered nurses
who work part time.
Basically the outlook for registered nursing jobs are
excellent but of course this would vary by the following
factors: employment and geographic setting. Employment of
registered nurses are expected to grow much faster than the
average for all careers through year 2016 and because the
career is very large, many new jobs will emerge. It was
gathered that there will be 587,000 new registered nursing
jobs. This is the largest number of new careers for any
occupation. Plus, do not forget that there will be hundreds of
thousands of registered nursing jobs that will be available
resulting from the need to replace experience nurses who left
the occupation.
